HSE Policy, Promotions Activity & Safety
ACPL is committed to achievement & maintenance of high standards of Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) at all its plants and offices. The company conducts through internal HSE audits at all plants and offices annually and award trophy to top-rated establishment. The internal audits are conducted by members of senior management of the company and evaluations are based on qualitative and quantitative HSE parameters.
HSE promotional activities such as observance of Road safety Day, National Safety Week, Environment Day and Machines Safety Day are conducted on a regular basis.
To protect environment and prevent pollution, Initiatives are rigorously taken at each of the operational plants like Employing of Dust Collector System, continuous sprinkling of water for preventing air pollution, Monitoring of PUC of all vehicles and DG exhausts, Air, Water and Noise Pollution, Disposing of wasted materials through approved agencies.
SAFETY
Our team member are considered our most valuable asset; therefore safety is not just a program, it’s our culture. We continusally develop new safety training programs and utilize new safety methods to meet the needs of the industry and our workforce. Our outstanding safety record did not happen by chance; it is a derivation of our hard work and commitment to employees. Our Zero Injury policy, which is reinforced daily throughout the organization states that “All employees are obligated to conduct their work in a safe manner, to stop work immediately to correct any unsafe condition that is encountered, and to take corrective action so that work may proceed in a safe manner
The purpose of the policy is to establish programs and procedures that will eliminate accidents and injuries on our projects and in our office, and a projects-specific safety plan is developed and implemented for every new job we begin. The goal of the program is to achieve safety excellence. Protecting our workers, our customers, partners, and the general public is of utmost importance to Mortenson. Therefore safety is our number one priority. When we say Zero Injuries, we mean it!
